BNSF5224 East at the base of Firth hill. After more than a year I don't remember much about this shot. 2009 was a poor year for foaming, didnt go any where or do any thing exciting. Better luck this year. BNSF 9291 east at Firth. Pretty crapy colors in February and not much interest in jacking them in Photoshop BNSF 9848 Stopped on the hill at Firth. When you only go out a few times a year, you will shoot almost any thing. BNSF8810 at Pleasant Dale. These are looking almost as tired as I do. Ah early spring colors. As you can tell I realy jacked this around in PS. The windshild is actually from a later shot and re-sized to fit. It was an experiment that went ok but the rest of the shot is kinda goofy. A little better color but now we have head on lighting. Better lighting and color but now we have nasty tree shadows. Better lighting and color with no tree shadows but now we have Glare &#@*!%&. Better color and lighting, no tree shadow no glare, but now we have grungy old Mac. I give up. OK If you are still looking I question your sanity, but maby there is something interesting coming up, I realy can't remember Kinda dark isn't it?. Ewwww the dark side of the train. Oh well. Finaly some fall colors. I think this was about the only day for fall colors around here. Turned cold and rany for the rest of the season. There are a few good shots from around roca but unfortunately I dont know how to shoot them. This is close The local that is about to switch the ethanol plant. See. This is what happens when you fart around and let the train beat you to a location. This is what happens when you fart around and let the sun beat you to a location. This is what happens when you shoot the donkey and turn the head lights on in PS because you only shot 28 trains in 2009. This is what happens when you try to make a mixed up consist look good. Put the PhotoShop down and step away from the computer please. I got a new computer with a big flat screen and I think the colors change between sittings. I thought this was pretty good but looks like crap now. I realy liked my old 200 lb crt monitor, at least the colors looked good to me. Has any one used a polarizer filter to calm the glare? If so how did it work for you? Eh, not terible but I've done better. I do like a matched consist. How about some snow, and remember Bridges may be ICY. I have a few from this year but those will have to wait. I hope to go Crawford this year but that is only a hope. Check back in a few months maby I will have something more then. Untill then stay in school and don't do drugs.
